Full Synthetic Lubricant for Ammonia Compressors

Top Performance Refrigeration Oil is a fully synthetic, PAO based lubricant for screw-type refrigeration compressors that use ammonia (NH3) as a refrigeration fluid. Completely wax-free, Top Performance Refrigeration Oil has very low volatility, extremely low pour point, low miscibility with ammonia and excellent oxidation stability.

Top Performance Refrigeration Oil is formulated to lubricate ammonia refrigeration compressors used in large commercial operations such as cold stores and food processing plants; specifically blast freezers that have very low evaporator temperatures.

It is recommended for screw compressors using low evaporator temperatures with refrigerants such as ammonia, Freon R12, R14 and R22. Top Performance Refrigeration Oil exceeds all compressor manufacturers' specifications.

Top Performance Refrigeration Oil minimizes mixing of oil in the refrigerant. This reduces the amount of make-up oil, thereby reducing annual oil costs. The high VI of Top Performance Refrigeration Oil provides excellent temperature stability and reduces vaporization of oil into the discharge side of the compressor.

The synthetic PAO base oil has no aromatic content and very low volatility. This reduces vaporization of the oil and loss into the system, as well as slows oxidation of the oil. This extends compressor life and extends the drain interval. Top Performance series synthetic oils do not mix with water to form an emulsion.

SVB Industrial Flush is a specialized mixture of synthetic oils, solvents and cleaning products to clean and dissolve sludge, tar, varnish and carbonized deposits found in screw and reciprocal compressors.
